These terms apply to professionals, external workers, home education workers, reviewers, specialists, and other non-school users who are invited into EdiWay to access limited records or collaboration areas.
Professional access must only be created through a valid platform invitation or approved registration routes and must reflect a real, authorised relationship to the learner, family, school, or case concerned.
Professional access is limited to the scope granted through the platform. Access may depend on child links, role settings, consent workflows, invitation settings, and safeguarding restrictions.
Professionals must keep all learner, family, school, and support information confidential and must not access, copy, download, disclose, or use information outside the purpose for which access was granted.
If you are given access to child-related records, you must use the platform appropriately and within your professional authority. You must not use the platform in any way that places a child or family at risk.
If you add notes, records, comments, or uploads, you are responsible for ensuring that they are appropriate, accurate to the best of your knowledge, and relevant to the authorised support or review purpose.
You must not re-share information taken from the platform unless you are authorised and there is a lawful basis to do so.
If AI-supported features are available to your role, you remain responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them or sharing them onward.
Professional access may be limited, time-bound, revoked, or ended where the relationship ends, consent is withdrawn, a safeguarding issue arises, or access is no longer needed.
Misuse of professional access may lead to immediate suspension, removal, record preservation, and further action where appropriate.
