EDIWAY SCHOOL PLATFORM

One Connected Platform. One Governed Learner Journey.

Bring school operations, learning, assessments, SEND and wellbeing, family collaboration, workforce management, recruitment, school commerce and governed AI into one permission-aware platform.

EdiWay connects the people, evidence and workflows around every learner - helping schools reduce repeated administration, improve access to information and keep each authorised user focused on what matters to their role.

Designed for UK Education · SEND-Inclusive · Permission-Aware · Family Connected · Human-Reviewed AI

A CONNECTED OPERATING MODEL

Reduce Fragmentation.Keep the Learner at the Centre.

Schools often manage attendance, assessments, SEND, family communication, resources, recruitment and workforce records across separate systems. Each disconnected workflow creates another place to enter information, search for evidence or maintain an incomplete version of the learner’s story.

EdiWay brings these areas into a clearer operating model built around the school, the learner and the people authorised to support them.

Reduce Repeated Administration

Reuse relevant learner, class, family and workforce information across connected workflows instead of entering it repeatedly.

Keep Evidence Connected

Link assessments, observations, resources, interventions, support plans and progress to the appropriate learner record.

Improve Operational Visibility

Give leaders a clearer view of school activity, learner progress, staffing, support and outstanding actions.

Protect Necessary Boundaries

Control access through roles, schools, classes, learner relationships, consent and defined information areas.

EXPLORE THE EDIWAY PLATFORM

Start with the Workflow You Need.Connect More as Your Needs Develop.

THE CONNECTED LEARNER JOURNEY

Keep the Right History ConnectedAs Education and Support Change.

A learner’s circumstances may change over time. Their education may involve school, home education, hybrid learning, specialist provision, professional support or preparation for adulthood.

EdiWay is designed to support that continuity without treating each pathway or relationship as an unrelated record.

Connect classes, timetables, attendance, assessments, resources, SEND support and family communication.

Home and Hybrid Education

Support family-led routines, learning plans and evidence while keeping school-owned and family-owned information appropriately separated.

Professional and Multi-Agency Support

Allow approved professionals to contribute through defined learner relationships rather than receiving unrestricted access to school records.

Transition and Adulthood

Prepare selected evidence for a new setting, pathway or adult-controlled record while retaining context, ownership and consent.

PURPOSEFUL ACCESS

The Right Information. The Right Person. The Right Purpose.

A connected platform should not mean that every person can see every record.

EdiWay uses different layers of responsibility to determine what a user can view and what actions they can take.

Organisation

Access can be limited to the relevant school or approved organisation.

Role

Leaders, teachers, SENCOs, operational staff, families and professionals receive different tools and permissions.

Learner and Class

Staff can be limited to assigned classes, learners or areas of responsibility.

Relationship and Consent

Family and professional access can depend on an active, approved learner relationship and appropriate consent.

Information Area

Sensitive areas such as safeguarding, SEND, medical, HR and professional evidence can remain separately controlled.

Audit and Review

Important activity, approvals and access changes can be recorded for authorised review.

BUILT FOR CONNECTION WITHOUT LOSING CONTROL

Broader Than a Traditional School System.Focused on Responsible Education Workflows.

EdiWay connects school management with the wider learner ecosystem.

It brings together operational administration, learning evidence, SEND and wellbeing, families, professional collaboration, workforce tools, recruitment, school commerce and governed AI.

The objective is not to replace educators, SENCOs, safeguarding leads, professional services or statutory decision-makers.

It is to reduce avoidable duplication, make evidence easier to follow and help authorised people work from a clearer shared context.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Understanding the EdiWay School Platform

The product is designed for organisations and the people around a learner. The experience changes with the user's responsibility, not just their account type.

Is EdiWay a school management information system?

EdiWay includes school management and operational capabilities, but its scope is broader than a conventional MIS. It connects school operations with learning, SEND and wellbeing, families, workforce management, recruitment, school commerce, specialist pathways and governed AI.

Does every user see the complete learner record?

No. Access is designed around the relevant school, role, learner, class, relationship, consent and information area. Different users receive different views and capabilities according to their responsibilities.

Can a school begin with selected workflows?

EdiWay is designed so that schools can begin with the workflows most relevant to them and connect additional areas as their needs and platform access develop.

Feature availability may depend on the school’s subscription, enabled modules, permissions and current live-testing status.

How does EdiWay support SEND?

EdiWay provides structured workflows for support records, referrals, plans, provision, interventions, reviews, sensory information, wellbeing context and evidence gathering.

The platform organises educational evidence and collaboration. It does not diagnose conditions, issue statutory decisions or replace professional assessment.

Can parents and external professionals contribute?

Parents can access approved information and contribute through relevant family workflows. Approved professionals can be invited into limited learner-specific relationships with a defined purpose and scope.

They do not automatically receive unrestricted access to the wider school or learner record.

How is AI used within EdiWay?

EdiWay AI can assist with drafting, summarising, document preparation and resource creation where enabled and permitted.

Outputs remain drafts for human review. AI does not make diagnoses, safeguarding findings, statutory decisions or automatic approvals.

Does EdiWay support home education and EOTAS?

EdiWay includes home-education workflows and an England-first EOTAS foundation. These pathways remain distinct from ordinary school enrolment and attendance while connecting relevant evidence around the learner.

Some specialist and external workspaces may be available only through controlled rollout or live testing.

CURRENTLY IN LIVE TESTING

Help Shape a More ConnectedEducation Platform.

EdiWay is being actively developed and tested.

Schools participating in live testing can explore current workflows, provide practical feedback and help shape how the platform supports real educational settings.

Some features may remain in development, require additional configuration or be available only through controlled rollout.
