This notice explains the standards that apply when using EdiWay, including dashboards, messaging, resources, uploads, support areas, school-store features, and collaboration tools.
EdiWay is an education-focused platform used by schools, families, students, professionals, and support users. Because the platform may include children, sensitive information, and safeguarding-related material, all users must use the service responsibly and lawfully.
You must not use EdiWay to:

You are responsible for anything you upload, submit, or share. Content must be relevant, lawful, and appropriate to the platform’s purpose.

If you use the platform in any role that involves a child, you must act appropriately and within your authority. You must not attempt to use the platform to create inappropriate contact, gather unauthorised information, or avoid safeguarding or supervision arrangements.
School staff, parents, carers, and professionals must use the platform in a way that matches their role and authority. Invitation tools, access controls, and sharing features must not be used casually or outside valid educational, support, or safeguarding purposes.
If you use AI-supported features, you remain responsible for the output you review, edit, approve, or share. You must not use AI-generated material to mislead users, falsify records, or present unchecked content as professional fact.
We may remove content, restrict access, suspend accounts, preserve records, or take other action where we believe these standards or our terms have been breached, especially where child safety, safeguarding, security, or serious misuse is involved.
If you see misuse, abusive behaviour, or a potential safeguarding concern, report it to safeguarding@ediway.co.uk as soon as possible.
